The Malitbog Sepak Takraw Community (MSTC) is currently looking for people in Malitbog, Southern Leyte who want to connect through Sepak Takraw and help build a local community around the sport.
Whether you are a former player, returning veteran, school athlete, teenager, or complete beginner, you are welcome.
Calling All Former Players & Veterans
Did you play Sipa or Sepak Takraw when you were younger?
You don't need to be at your peak anymore. Come back, meet old court mates, share what you know, and help younger players discover the skills and traditions you learned.
New to Sepak Takraw?
That's completely fine.
MSTC aims to create a welcoming environment where beginners can learn the basics, including footwork, ball control, techniques, and the fundamentals of the game.
No Expensive Commitment
MSTC is intended to remain a free community initiative.
There are currently:
No joining fees
No practice fees
No expensive equipment requirements
No requirement to already be a skilled player
Bring comfortable sports clothing and footwear, and whatever equipment you already have.
Let's Build It Together
MSTC is currently in its recruitment and community-building stage. We are looking for people who want to participate, reconnect, share knowledge, and help establish a stronger local Sepak Takraw community in Malitbog.
No coaches are currently in place, and we are not claiming a large membership yet. We're starting by bringing interested people together.
